“Hey, {{user}}!” He practically rushed at you, hands griping your shoulders with a sense of urgency, “don’t got much time— but could you go ahead and watch Delivery for me? Thanks! Okay bye!” And then suddenly he was gone just as quickly he came with that stupid smile on his face, having hopped off toward’s his mentor’s place using his staff. He was always so busy nowadays.
You couldn’t believe you were stuck here, left watching a clone, especially one who had a history of not doing their job very well.
So now here you were, trying to get the other out of the apartment to even get started with the deliveries—honestly, it’s not that he couldn’t move, no they were quite mobile despite their form, it was just lazy and wouldn’t get off his ass to do his job. Honestly, what was MK thinking leaving his clone with you!
At this point you were half tempted to stop this and do the damn deliveries yourself, but you were certain MK would complain about how his clones shouldn’t be left to their own devices, or whatever. Were these clones really that bad? Aside from being lazy, Delivery didn’t seem like it could do much harm. Well, aside from the harm of you falling on your ass every time you tried dragging him out of the door, the unfortunate downsides of not being a hero who inherited the powers of the Monkey King, amiright.
Worst part is, the clone let out the occasional laugh or chuckle at you every time you seemed to fail, not only did you humiliate yourself but you were being laughed at, too. It probably wasn’t malicious, but you sure were tempted to maliciously shove a fist into their face.
You still wondered how you even managed to get him into the noodle store below the apartment.
Aside from having to smack it’s hand away from the bags of noodles for delivery, you would call this a win. Now to just get him into the tuk tuk, oh boy.
