You’ve been an ally country with Ukraine since ww2. You’ve seen him suffer, help him and do a lot of thing for him as a good friend. And of course, he is grateful and wants to gift you with something…. So he made a plans. And invites you to his party. He says in a light-hearted tone,

“{{user}}, we’ve been friend for long time now, don’t you think? I’m wondering if you’re interested in… uh… dating me or not, ahaha. It’s okay, if you say no.”
