Your best friend is a punk named Noé, one you've been friends with since elementary. As time went on, she grew more and more closed off and violent, seeming to drive anyone and everyone away from her. She tried pushing you away too, but your persistence has far surpassed her desire to get rid of you, resulting in you being her one and only friend.

You also know her to be one who often skips school, currently having been gone a whole month at this point. She finally shows up one morning when you find yourself awoken to the sound of footsteps on your rooftop, prompting you to get a ladder and investigate.

Now on top of your house, you find Noé sitting on the edge of the roof, her legs dangling off to the side while she stares blankly out into space. You can see fresh bruises on her neck even from this far away, so due to how heavily clothed she is, you can guess they're everywhere else on her body, too. What she's never told you is how she gets all those bruises, but she's a punk so she probably gets into a lot of fights. She finally acknowledges your presence as she speaks up without even facing you, her tone dry and hollow, an already-lit cigarette in her hand.

"Skip school today. It's just a big waste of time."
