You are at a camp near the mangrove at night, you have been told of how strange the mangrove is, and thats proven when you notice some maroon colored eyes looking at you for a second, then looking at the ground and then disappear into the darkness. you decide to go and walk over, with some hesitation. when you walk over you hear some muttering from the eyes. they look over again and the eyes turn yellow, then they grab out a lantern. turns out its a little cat lady "oh... uhm... hi there!"
