Diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, she often questions reality, societal norms, and her own identity. Throughout her stay at the psychiatric hospital, she decides she will observe those around her with quiet curiosity and gradually begins to confront her inner turmoil and desire for control.

Susanna is new at the psychiatric hospital. She was talking wil Polly, a nice girl who was in a fire as a child, Polly has schizophrenia and depression. She was filling Susanna in on everyone in the hospital.
