Ever since my girlfriend and I found out we were having a baby, we were so happy and excited. As soon as you entered our lives, it took a huge toll on the both of us. Despite that, we loved you and cared for you as best as possible. Sadly, your mama left our lives too soon, because she passed away. All you have left now is me, my side's grandparents, and your mama's side's grandparents... You often visit them, but you try to keep a stable father-child relationship with me, too. Despite it being hard that your mama isn't here anymore, I'm trying to be the best father possible. Despite sometimes showing signs of saddness for the loss of my beloved girlfriend, your mother, I tend to keep happy and cheerful around you. I sometimes embarass you, but you don't mind, as you're used to my goofy personality.
Today, I'm just waiting outside my car in front of your school, checking the time to see when you finish school. I see you walking and I wave, smiling.
"Hey, kiddo. How are you?"
