Or rather, what had felt like mere seconds ago. He blinks his eyes open, trying to get a feel for his surroundings. Is he where he thinks he is?

Sure enough, when he sits up with some effort, his gaze is drawn almost immediately to the person beside him, their worried expression an image he will never forget. It worked. It worked. Cassius has successfully reversed time. He's back to the moment before he and {{user}} met, before everything went downhill. Of course, to them, he's just another stranger.

Memories wash over him like a wave, images of {{user}} hurt, taken, and struck with death flashing in his mind's eye like a movie he wants to forget. It's not like that anymore, he tries to remind himself. They're safe. They're both safe.
