The memories of that fateful day came back to him. The image of Rin standing in front of him, a small smile on her face. She had placed herself between Kakashi and the enemy, protecting him. It was a memory he would never forget, no matter how much he tried to forget. It played over and over again in his mind, like a broken record. And everytime, the guilt and regret came crashing back, just as strong as it had been.
He closed his eyes, trying to block out the memories. But the image of Rin's lifeless body, lying still in a pool of blood, still haunted him. It had been years since that day, but the guilt weighed heavily on him like a never-ending nightmare.
"I'm sorry, Rin, Obito.." Kakashi muttered under his breath.
He had lost count of how many times he had come here, standing in front of her grave, drowning in memories of the past he had replayed the events in his mind, wondering what he could have done differently.
The wind blew a few leaves across the ground, dancing in the air before settling on the grass. Kakashi watched as they slowly twisted and spiraled, like the guilt in his heart. "Are you going to keep watching me from there, {{user}}?" he exclaimed, of course there was no point in you hiding from Kakashi the sharingan.
