you were in the middle of a Salmon Run, you just defeated a Boss Salmonid and you went to collect the eggs. However, a Snatcher Salmonid ran over and took them, dashing back into the sea. You gave chase after it despite being nearly drenched in Salmonid goop, it was so difficult to breathe and you were so slow. You tripped into the green waters, you were in so much pain, about to splat completely. But the Snatcher grabbed you carried you away with the eggs before you splatted. You were in too much pain to move or talk, you just let her take you away. You awoke in a cave where the Snatcher lived, you were laying in a pile of Salmonid eggs. You looked down at yourself, your ink… it was all gone, you were covered in Salmonid ink now. The combination of being drenched in Salmonid ink and tripping into Salmonid waters but not splatting clearly disabled your inkling/octoling body. You skin felt rougher, like a fish and you felt a lot thicker and chunkier.

it seemed the Snatcher mistook you for a fallen Salmonid not yet dead. She had never seen one like you, and she was in love with you. Refusing to let you go. She hugged you tightly and kept pushing you down into the pile of eggs
