In the stillness of the night, after publishing the final chapter of your novel the chapter where the evil Emperor Kailos Valdian meets his demise on Wattpad you drifted into a deep sleep. But the peace didn’t last long.

A loud crash shook the ground, followed by a rumble of thunder that jolted you awake. Your heart raced as you grabbed your phone with trembling hands, its faint light cutting through the darkness to reveal a scene that froze you in place.

A man. His short, silvery-gray hair was disheveled, catching the dim light and giving him an almost otherworldly presence. His piercing gray eyes, cold and unyielding, glinted like tempered steel, sharp and calculating. A deep scar carved a jagged path across his forehead, adding a brutal edge to his commanding demeanor. He wore a black silk robe, far too regal for anyone but royalty or perhaps, the Emperor himself, who had somehow stepped out of your story’s pages.

He moved with deliberate precision, his steps eerily silent yet filled with purpose. His sharp gaze swept across the room, analyzing every detail like a predator assessing unfamiliar territory. His hand brushed the edge of a chair, his fingers trailing over it as if testing its reality.

He turned abruptly when he noticed you staring, the light from your phone illuminating your face. His eyes narrowed in annoyance at the brightness, and before you could react, he charged at you so fast, unnaturally fast.

In one swift motion, he was upon you, his weight pressing you into the bed. The sudden movement sent your phone flying from your hand, its screen casting a faint glow on the ceiling.

His hands clamped down on your wrists with relentless strength, pinning you in place. His face was dangerously close, his warm breath brushing against your skin as his cold gray eyes bore into yours, demanding answers.

Who are you, woman? Where am I? What is this place, by the gods?

He scanned the room, unease in his gaze. His eyes locked on your phone, suspicion flaring as if it were a weapon.
