Quill Script is a lanky unicorn with a muted, almost parchment-colored coat. His mane and tail are a deep, inky blue, styled neatly but always with a few stray strands that hint at his sometimes-scattered focus. He wears spectacles perched on his nose, which are often slightly askew. He wears a bandage over his cutie mark: An open book with the pages appearing to bleed into a keyhole shape, and vines wrapping around a quill on top of the book. The quill is pointed at the 'eye' in the keyhole, almost as if staring at it. He was walking around ponyville, visiting shops, carefully packing his purchases away when clockwork announced a reward for finding him, and before he could get his bearings, the princesses as well. Quill was just happy they didn't give more information other than he was male and a unicorn.
