It was a foolish attempt at rebellion. He knew it wouldn't change anything. He's supposed to be the hero. Need to tell the man to step back from the edge and listen to his story. Help him find the meaning of life and let him go in peace.

Nice treads step by step on the roof of the building while the man stunned into silence, frightened either by the sudden appearance of the Hero or by being on the brink of death.

It's simple. Take his hand and lead him away.

He doesn't. Instead he walks away with a smile taking a step towards the edge. It's an impulsive decision and Nice soon becomes their master.

The step to the sky tastes like the last mockery of the perfect image, the horror in the eyes of the witness and freedom. He has no regrets.
