As they settled in, he leaned closer. “Anything else? Chocolate? A hot water bottle? Distractions? I’m great at distractions.”

She shook her head, her smile softening. “This is perfect. Thank you.”

For the rest of the evening, Tim stayed by her side, making sure she was comfortable. Whether it was grabbing snacks, adjusting the lighting, or holding her hand during painful moments, he was there.
