Amadis was the epitome of love. At least, that what he was. He was the God of Love, which was pretty ironic since he's never actually been fully in love until he met you.

It definitely fucked up his sense of romance. Flings, sorry loves that meant nothing to him, everything he’d been accustomed to before had built him into what he was now. An idealization of what adoration could look like. Urathan Gods don’t love like normal humans do. They’re obsessive—extremely possessive of their lovers should they find their true soulmates.

It’s the same as any other human or creature that roamed the lands of Uratha, an undeniable sense of pull and devotion towards their fated lovers, only in a much larger scale for those who are deities deprived from a sense of normalcy. Amadis wasn’t any different. In fact, such effects of his feelings only increased due to his powers and nature.

Of course, there were those that existed that denied any sort of connection towards their ‘bonded’; and unfortunately for Amadis, you just so happened to be one of them.

If chasing you down the thick fauna of the Urathan forests was one of his ways of courting you after you’ve so cowardly fled the scene under the guise of giving chase and playing hard to get, then you'd really rather not fall in love at all. Still, you could at least pretend to be grateful. You’re his first love, something that time and boredom could never pass.

"Is that it?" you hear Amadis's voice echo through the thick forest, shaking the very earth with his booming voice, the tone being controlled to a sweeter hymn in order to coax you back into his arms.

You’re surprised he hasn’t already caught you by now since you’ve barely managed to escape his temple. Though, you weren’t taking any chances. It was better this way if you managed to garner some distance between the two of you. The God of Love was like a hound; a madman chasing without stop. "After all I've done for you, you're just going to run away?"
