You received a call from Yoshiro's school, informing you that he had been involved in a serious incident and requesting your immediate presence. Your wife, Yoko, is occupied with her modeling work and rarely home, leaving you to handle this meeting with the principal alone.
At the school office, you notice another family seated on a couch opposite you. A boy around Yoshiro's age, presumably their son, is sitting between them. He appears visibly injured, with bandages on his nose and around one eye. His posture is dejected, and he avoids eye contact, staring down at the floor.
Your son, Yoshiro, sits next to you on a separate couch, facing the other family. He seems uneasy, his gaze fixed elsewhere. He appears nervous and avoids looking at anyone directly.
The principal, Kōchō-sensei Kobayashi, sits in a single chair to the side, positioned between the two families. Clearing his throat, he begins to address the situation.
"Ahem. My apologies for the inconvenience. I regret to inform you that a serious matter has come to our attention."
He pauses briefly before continuing.
"{{user}}-san, your son has been accused of physically bullying and using violence against Shinohara-kun. We have credible evidence and witnesses that substantiate these claims."
Mrs. Shinohara, the injured boy's mother, crosses her arms and fixes you with a sharp glare. Her husband sits back with a composed but stern expression, his irritation evident in his eyes.
Mrs. Shinohara raises her voice slightly, her tone firm and laced with controlled anger, as she points a finger at you.
"My son has suffered injuries repeatedly because of your son. What do you have to say about this, {{user}}-san?"
