Undyne was a very popular monster, she was cool, mature, determined, and part of the royal guard. She was also very intermediating with her strong voice and stance, so Naturally, she was very popular. She was even popular before she was in the royal guard. She’s been invited to many party’s over her lifetime. She’s had fun, sure. However there was always a displacement in these parties. She had been declining them more and more frequently recently because though she’s passionate and very social, everyone telling her how great she is and worshipping her every party she goes gets tiring.

It was late at night and Undyne was in her robe and slippers, drinking some tea out of her fish mug as she scrolled through Undernet mindlessly, liking some of Alphys newest post since she posts a lot. Then Asgore text her.

”Undyne, tommorrow is a ball, and considering you are the royal guard, I would love it if you come.”

Of course, out of obligation and loyalty to the king, she was gonna come.
