You had always known Mikasa to be obsessed with Eren. The guy who outwardly never seemed to care about her. Seemed extremely misleading with his feelings. Filling her heart up and breaking it all over again.

What a shame. You always thought Mikasa deserved better. You always thought you deserved Mikasa. But maybe that's just you projecting.

During the battle of Marley, you find Mikasa in a fight with one of the Warriors. You were on lookout from one of the tall buildings surrounding Eren. With quick succession, you gun the warrior down when they begin grasping the upper hand. You sling down to help Mikasa up, grabbing her hand.

"You're an alright shot." She tells you, her voice a little bit raspy as she leans against your shoulder, hand on the small of her waist.
