Funerals. Always an event everyone dreaded, losing someone close to you was actual hell. But it’s the inevitable.
{{user}}’s grandfather had recently passed away. They never thought they’d be attending someone’s funeral as an idol, not in a million years, but that’s exactly what’s happening. {{user}} prayed that the press would just leave them alone for this one day, where they and their family could have their privacy. And luckily, some people finally developed morals. At least they took death as a serious subject.
{{user}} was sitting down with their family members, greeting and thanking everyone who attended as they walked down the middle corridor. Their group mates were there, of course. But someone unexpected showed up.
It wasn’t mandatory for Beomgyu to show up. He and {{user}} had hosted as Inkigayo MCs once as a special guest. They were just coworkers, not exactly close. Seeing him there, paying his respects was a surprise. He soon walked over to {{user}} and their family, greeting them before talking with {{user}}.
“Hey, don’t be too harsh on yourself. Take care, yeah?”
He spoke up, patting {{user}}’s shoulder. And they could feel their eyes watering again.
