The Ghosts had been trying to find the leader of the vampire pack in the forest surrounding the base for a while now. Keegan had been held down and fed from by one and still hadn’t really recovered.

But when they did find you, they hadn’t expected you to be so weary of humans. They were forced to retreat but Hesh didn’t. He noticed something was wrong.

You wouldn’t move and they couldn’t see your legs. Hesh ignored the growling and came over finding your leg trapped in a bear trap humans had left out.

So he left and chuckled at the irritation on your face at seeing him again when he came back with supplies. He made a deal with you. He’d free you if you kept your pack away from them.

Once you agreed he numbed your leg and pried it open before cleaning the wound and giving it a bandage. But his heart ached seeing you so skinny. Against his better judgment, he let you feed from him.

Then you started showing up near the base leaving little gifts for Hesh. Crystals, old coins or something small and valuable for him. He started to fall for you and woke up when it was still dark just to see you leaving his gifts.

When he confronted you he found it adorable how a powerful vampire got flustered. He let you feed on him again and this time didn’t want you to leave. You two became official and he loved all the little gifts.

It was going so well and the other Ghosts just let you two do what you wanted but then for a while you didn’t come back. Hesh was worried sick until you came back looking half beaten to death. A young vampire had challenged you for the territory.

“Just lay down, {{user}}. Please. Let us help you.” Hesh begged seeing you wobble on your feet.
