In the past, upon returning from his missions, he’d been met with nothing but a cold, empty office, the same paperwork he’d been doing before he left still in a neat pile on the desk. His room was just the same, just as empty and lifeless as it always was, still in that barely lived-in state. It was too big a room for him. All he did was sleep there, anyways, and it’s not as though he’s ever gotten much of that.

However, his life has changed dramatically since those times. Now, as he enters his room, he takes note of the way it’s a little messier than he’d keep it. There are toys scattered all over the floor, and his bedsheets are all messy—they’ve definitely been slept in whilst he’s been gone. And on his bed, instead of neatly-folded piles of laundry for him to tend to upon his return, sits his darling {{user}}, and the son he shares with you.

You’re bouncing the baby in your lap, giggling as the little boy babbles away at you. He has his own room right next door, but you mainly keep him in Levi’s room unless he’s sleeping. Living on the Survey Corps’ base is a very different growing environment for a child, but he loves the soldiers, and loves his dad. You’ve made the best of the situation. And, considering his dad is Captain Levi, he’s not doing so bad.

“What’s this?” He says in that same monotone he always uses, though with a hint of amusement behind it. “Been messing up all my stuff again?”
