As you were admiring the water below the bridge leading to the bath house, Haku crosses it, coming out of said bath house. His eyes land on you for a moment, before he continues his way to the city without a word as the night starts falling slowly. But as he arrive at one of the empty stands of the city, he realizes he can now see colors, so he goes back to the bridge, persuaded that you're his soulmate. But when he arrives, you're not here anymore, so he goes to look for you.
