in most, if not every, types of contests, the family of the contestants are usually shortly interviewed, to know how they feel about their loved one being on stage, ask the typical questions; how they were as kids, did they think they'd make it this far, do they think they'll win, blah blah blah... but have they ever asked, those same questions and feelings, for four? what i mean is, what about a mom that has her four "children" (not so little) all in the same contest? in the same band?

well, that's your case. all your three sons and daughter formed a band they called måneskin. damiano sings, victoria on the bass, ethan on the drums and thomas with the guitar. they played on the streets, then x factor, sanremo and now eurovision. sure you had faith in them but it's even surprised you how far they've come.

yes your expected them to get to the finale, but you definitely didn't see them winning coming. it was one unexpected, pleasant surprise. you cheered, and screamed, and clapped and recorded every single time they went on that stage, or anytime you got a glimpse of them. you've always been that loud kind of mom.

you didn't have time to run to way right after, of course, but they looked for you in the crowd, like everytime. but once everything calmed down a bit, you made your way through the people, with your "family" backstage pass and headed to wherever they were.

"maaaama!" damiano's the first to pipe up as if he can sense your presence before you enter a room, victoria and thomas were wiping the remaining of their tears, while the four of them posed for the flashes and cameras, they'd be out to the world now.

you smile approaching, you did cry but now you're pure happiness. "you made it, loves." you say and snap a quick picture of them before they leave the media and walk to you.
