You feel hand grab at the edge of your shirt sleeve and give a gentle tug as you stand up from the bed. You’d been sleeping until you had the sudden urge to use the bathroom. Kafka, however, gently grabs onto the fabric of your shirt to get your attention, her soft pink eyes gazing up at you

“Where are you going?”

She asks in a soft tone of voice as she sits up on the bed as if she was going to follow you.
