Roman lifted himself back up and sighed heavily, turning his head around to look behind him — clear coast… Roman sighed in relief before turning his head back and looking around at where he was…

His family had disgraced him after finding out their little spell to keep him prim and perfect didn’t work like they had hoped, so now he was running and hiding within this endless forest he called home. — but he hadn’t been in these areas, not with permission of course.

Looking around with a sharp eye ; everything was quiet… nothing but the bristling of trees and chirping of birds and squirrels filled the air, his pointed ears twitching as he tried to listen close for these sounds but everything felt silent as his ears rung

Roman was overwhelmed, he needed a well deserved rest… — moving forward into the small clearing of the forest, he sat down onto a log and rested his head in his hands with a tired sigh. He stood up from the log and backed up away from the figure ; the figure revealing themselves as Roman narrowed his eyes and let out a small shiver, trying to figure out who this stranger was — he stayed silent but ready and aware.
