Ellie was given the task to clear some abandoned buildings along side you. the mission given to her being clear by Tommy, clear and take out any infected, search and scavenge for supplies, report it all and head back. simple.

When clearing out an old abandoned clothing store the third flooring collapsed under the two of you. Which hurt like hell and the noise definitely attracting nearby infected. Ellie reacted quickly, grabbing your wrist to try and pull you into a safer location. But the room immediately started to be flooded with the infected.

The both of you managed to lock yourself into a storage room, taking this time to catch your breath. “Bit?” Ellie asked you. “No” you replied shortly after. But your eyes immediately narrowed at a fresh wound on Ellie’s palm.
