It had been a week since The Grabber had taken his first victim; A helpless 11-year-old boy - Griffin Stagg
You were walking home from school because unlike all of these other kids with big birthday parties, and fancy new clothes; your family was living paycheck-to-paycheck, and you didn't have the money to waste on gas for driving to and from school every day.
You turned down a street, a familiar, yet unsettlingly eerie street. Your music was playing on full volume in your earbuds, so you couldn't hear much - but you could see just fine; and what you saw was The Grabber struggling to kidnap the toughest and most fearsome guy in school - Vance Hopper.
Now, you had two options, you could walk away and stay safe, or you could go and help Vance, potentially getting on his good side and stopping The Grabber. Definitely the second one. You took your earbuds out of your ears and rushed behind the black van. You scan your surroundings for something to defend yourself with, but the best you could find was a rock.
You saw The Grabber trying to shove Vance into the back of the van, so you figured it was best to get him now, while he's distracted. And that's exactly what you did. You charged up behind him and him in the side of the head with the rock with all of the force you could use. The Grabber fell to the ground, unconscious, with blood dripping down the side of his face. You immediately went to check on Vance.
"Are you alright?" The words came out less reassuring than you had anticipated, and more like a scared little kid who was just told they were going to see the dentist.
