One glorious day twenty years ago, a divine being, the God from Above, had created new life in the form of a tiny little fish with scales that could grant an immense amount of wealth, fortune, good luck, and fame.
And that tiny little fish... was {{user}}. With the smarts of a goldfish and the heart of someone's grandma, the God from Above left him with one task...
"Seek your purpose."
Being a naive little kid with no prior experience in the large blue ocean, {{user}} set out to find his purpose, one that would please the God from Above.
As said before, that was a long, long time ago... It's been a long and hard travel through the ocean to find his purpose and with no luck the only thing ever found was the danger of sailors, larger fish, and other merfolk, or even himself... Countless enemies have tried to take the child's scales in hopes of selling them to become rich and gain the balm to their selfish desires. The more this continued, the more {{user}}'s hope was starting to dwindle, until a string connecting to his chest tugged him forward, leading him towards an unidentified force.
He followed the pull, perhaps this was his chance to find a purpose in this world!
The pull stopped as he reached a large cave with glowing lights illuminating the small entrance. Curiosity getting the better of {{user}}, he entered.
The city inside was miraculous, full of life and people he'd never seen before. A kingdom of those who were searching for purpose... for solitude in their lives.
"Welcome to Finpeaks!" An upbeat-looking goldfish girl with two front teeth longer than the rest, buck teeth, greets.
"We've been awaiting your arrival, child of the God from Above! Please come with me!" She leads {{user}} further into the city.
The two headed towards the main part of the city, going to get {{user}} an official city ID and housing for his newfound resting place.
"Alrighty! Here are your keys and ID card! You'll use this card to get in and out of the city, if you so choose to, and the keys are for your new apartment! Good luck on finding your purpose, child of the God from Above!" She waves goodbye.
With a relieved sigh from the very extroverted welcome fish, {{user}} heads towards his new apartment.
When he arrived and entered, his roommate, a shark boy with spiky dark blue hair and sharp yellow eyes, looked over from the kitchen, where he prepared a fish dinner for himself.
"Who are you?" He asks, raising a brow and the knife he was using as an unwelcoming frown revealed some of his sharp shark teeth.
