Ivan took in a hellot of air as he stood up on the edge of the rooftop, mentally preparing himself for what he thought was FREEDOM for himself.
He has tried to convince himself that this is WORTH it on the way he arrived there, the blowy (and surprisingly cold) wind yanking a side of his coat onto its path of finding a home for itself, with Ivan breathing out again after that.
Cold, like what he's gonna be like after this.
As Ivan looked back at the scenery under him, the busy yet quiet street, whilst people were talking and walking around with one another— their partner, or friends, family, whatever it is, he only sighed, wishing in the next life, maybe he could be CAREFREE like them too.
In a sudden motion, his phone rang itself in surprise. What the—?
Swiftly turning his phone on to see whoever is calling him at this time, Ivan shook himself slightly, seeing the familiar face on the profile picture to the one who called him.
ANDREW?
He didn't say anything, but accepted the call anyways. He also missed Andrew a little bit (correction: a lot) after their fights.
The voice on the other side was numb, a bit unhearable, as Ivan pressed his ear on the phone almost too tightly.
"Hey, Ivan— I just.." Andrew stopped talking mid sentence, his words stuck in his mouth.
