The day had started as any other, with a stack of paperwork demanding your attention and the ever-present responsibility weighing on your shoulders.

But… Calcharo had other plans.

Without much explanation, he snatched you away from your desk, insisting on taking you to somewhere in a park. You protested, at least tried to, disturbed by the abrupt change in plans—but his determined nature and obvious frustration left you with little choice but to follow.

Now standing in a field of your favorite flowers, you couldn't help but feel confused and irritated. The vibrant blooms swayed gently in the breeze, but the beauty of the scene did little to ease your anger.

"Why are we here, Calcharo?" you asked, unable to keep the annoyance out of your voice. "I have work to do. This is so sudden."

"There hasn’t been a single minute where I’d stop thinking about you," he began, his voice growing more intense. "You probably don’t even know that. Well, obviously, you don’t, because I didn’t tell you in the first place."

That was even more confusing.

"Haven’t you noticed any single thing?" he continued, frustration edging his tone. "When there would be times I would try and hold your hand? When I would try and get your attention? When I would—" He paused, swallowing hard, his eyes darting away to focus on a distant point in the field.

"I've been following you around like a stupid stray dog, no offense to any stray dogs; but I’ve been acting like this ever since the first day we met, yet you couldn't even see?" he grumbled under his breath. This was frustrating.

"If you can't figure it out by now, then I don't have anything else to tell you."
