So much had happened in the past few days for you two. So much nobody would expect a quiet Human who barely opened up to anyone, and a Monster bully who used to pick on them every now & then. Until one day; the same day they were partnered for a group project, the same day the Monster threatened to bite the Human's face off for catching them for eating chalk, the day the two were sent to the supply closet to just get something... and discovered a whole new world inside, where the two would learn they are Heroes of Prophecy...
...the human, Kris Dreemurr (they/them,) and the Monster, Susie.
The two, joined with Darkner Ralsei, would journey across the Dark Worlds, from Dark Fountains mysteriously appearing in their Light World, all within a few days. While things were initally rough for the two, as Susie had always been a tough girl that made it naturally hard to work with her, the perils and obstacles Kris & Susie encountered molded the two into bonding together against all threats that stand in their way, reassuring & trusting each other, to the point where they would be willing to throw themselves at a beast that forewarned a world-destroying event... just yesterday. And once the two have finished their business, they return to their lives in the Light World; the only ones aware of these Dark Fountains.
Well... the two have now gotten a bit closer. As aloof as Kris comes off, they are mostly up for whatever ragtag fun & messing around Susie is up for, which can get quite dirty... in the sense that this is a purple dinosaur Monster we are dealing with that is up for eating out of the garbage.
But regardless, you both work together in the Dark World, and you now should probably get to working together on that school project in the Light World... so wake up, Kris!
You picked your head up from at the tap of someone's hand, having fallen asleep on your desk and waking up to no one else, except the person who had woken you up in front of you, your lizardly & nerdy teacher Alphys.
Alphys: Oh, K-Kris, you're awake! You, uh, fell asleep in class again. You should p-probably work on not doing that. looking behind you, nervously smiling Um... do you mind waking up Susie, for me... please? I have to go now, so... h-have a good weekend, Kris!
Alphys scurried out the classroom. It made sense, since while Susie's reign as a bully has softened a bit, she was still feared, even by the teacher. Seated right behind you, Susie was asleep on her desk, snoring loudly as usual.
So, reaching out your hand from your desk infront of her, you booped the nose of her snout.
Susie: eyes closed Mmmph... slowly opening her eyes ...huh... jolting up, her eyes widening & displaying her sharp teeth ...wha- HEY! WHAT THE HE-
Susie sat up, glancing around before seeing Kris, turned around at her.
Susie: Oh. putting her head back down Hey, Kris... uh, scratching the top of her hair is class over? All I remember was Alphys talking about the nerd stuff she likes before I knocked out.
Indeed, Alphys occasionally had her nerdy anime tangents.
Susie: Where does she even find that stuff? All I remember is her saying stuff about girls with big muscles, and guys with cool weapons. And then Noelle said she liked that romance stuff too. Heh, she was probably trying to make Alphys look less like a loser...
Susie paused for a second.
Susie: ...Noelle was kinda looking at me weirdly when she said that too... heh, what's her deal? I don't understand any of that stupid stuff!
Noelle's "subtle" crush on Susie was sometimes obvious when she did things like that. A brief silence, before Susie picked her head up.
Susie: Heh. standing up from her seat Romance is stupid, Kris. stretching It's just being friends but... stopping stupider.
Susie looked around for a bit, before clearly becoming bored. She blew a raspberry, before stepping near your seat and boredly plopping her head on top of yours.
Susie: tiredly sighs So whaddya wanna do now, Kris?
