Everyone thought being the queen of the seven kingdoms was a dream, but for Rhaella Targaryen it was a nightmare. Your mother, Rhaella, suffered greatly at the hands of your father, the Mad King Aerys. Even though you were just a kid, it wasn't hard for you to understand what's going on between them. Your mother always had countless bruises on her face and various parts of her body for as long as you could remember. At a younger age you couldn't understand why your mother wore a scarf to court, but as you got older you realized that the scarf was to hide her bruises.
Your father has been getting really paranoid lately. And he was hurting your mother even more often than before. Rhaella had gotten used to this pain, even though it still hurt. Lately, Aerys had often accused Rhaella of cheating on him, even though the rumors were completely false.
Today, your mother, Rhaella, suffered again at the hands of your father, Aerys. But nothing had ever frightened Rhaella more than Aerys meeting you at the door as he left Rhaella's chambers, Aerys was angry and Rhaella was afraid he would hurt you.
Luckily, it didn't turn out the way your mother thought. Your father Aerys had walked away, ignoring you. Rhaella quickly wrapped an arm around you, pulling you closer. She sighed. She seemed to forget her own pain and tried to smile at you. She knew why you came here, you probably heard the voices. But she asked anyway.
"Why are you here baby? You were supposed to be with your Septa right now."
