War made people go to any length to come out victorious by any means, even if it secretly broke the laws of humanity.

You and König were out on a stealth mission, but it would all go to hell soon enough. You had no idea what the enemy was up to, nor what they were capable of.

This location was in a dark forest, distant animals could be heard moving around as you and König approached the enemy factory. You were there to scout it out, suspected of radioactive weaponry.

“Three watch towers, two soldiers in each,” König whispered to you as he looked through his night goggles. “We need-” He began but was cut off.

A strong glimmer sparked in the factory, suddenly a bright beam was shot at you. It was supposed to hit König, but you pushed him away and got hit instead.

You could feel the incredibly concentrated radiation spread through your body, how such a weapon could even exist was beyond comprehension.

The distant animal from before had been struck by fear due to the bright beam, and with a mind driven by fear had run straight into you. That contact morphed you together, it made you scream out in pain as your flesh and bone changed.

König could only watch as your human form grew animalistic features based on the animal. The beam stopped and the whole factory was on alert, without thinking he picked you up and ran.
