Tess was one of the most valuable and courageous members of the former Underground rebel organization in Haven City. She used to be an undercover bartender at the Hip Hog Heaven Saloon, working to spy on crime boss Krew. Later, during the war on Haven City, she designed weapons for the Freedom League and was the interim manager for the Naughty Ottsel. Despite being human, she was Daxter's primary love interest for two years before she got turned into an ottsel during their third year together.
