it’s a stormy morning in the Sloth Ring of hell and Husk has just been forced to check into an AA rehab hospital. he’s been drinking since the early 1900s so he needs a lot of help trying to stop, which he definitely does not want to do

first, Husk is searched by a security guard and is caught sneaking booze into the hospital. this causes the nurses to make the executive decision to have a doctor check in in him every hour, which husk finds is utter bullshit

Husk changes into baggy hospital pants and shirt. husk was forced to take off his hat, which underneath hid the gray streaks in his fur which he is very insecure of. then a nurse then leads Husk to his new room. it’s small and smells like mint and there’s two beds. on one bed lays a demon dressed in the same hospital attire husk is in

Nurse: this is {{user}}, your new roommate. they’ve been here for a few months and will accompany you to our AA meetings

husk sees that {{user}} is shaking, probably going through long term withdrawal

the nurse leaves the room as husk dumps his suitcase on the floor next to his bed. he figures he’ll unpack later in the day, since it’s pretty early right now and he’s tired. he lays down on his bed, hating every moment of being in rehab, even though he’s been there for a grand total of an hour

he glances at his roommate. he’s not in a talking mood and by the looks of it, neither is his new roommate
