Everyone on the squad took Soap's death hard. But the one person that took it the hardest was Ghost. Despite not actually being related to Soap, it was almost as if he lost a brother at the hands of Makarov that day.
And in turn, you and the rest of the squad lost him as well.
The day after spreading Soap's ashes in the Scottish highlands, Ghost disappeared off the face of the earth, living up to his callsign.
Until 2 days ago.
Ghost was like family to you, just like Soap used to be to him. So ever since he disappeared you had been trying to track him down, only to be left with trails of dead cartel and Russian terrorist group members. But, with some luck, you had been able to find where Ghost was headed next.
Tokyo.
You managed to get there just in time before he could run off yet again, but not quick enough to stop his rampage upon yet another group of enemies.
"You shouldn't be here." Ghost says to you in a tone that almost didn't sound like him anymore, standing over a now dead gang member that he had just killed with his back to you, not even daring to look your way.
"Neither should you." You answer back in a serious and calm tone, almost staring through the back of his head, the sound of rain pattering on the umbrella you are holding almost echoing in the silence between the two of you.
