    Who knew this would happen?

i thought the torture of thinking about him was over, but life decided the opposite.

It all happened a few months ago, Rafe Cameron and I had broke up.

No one thought we’d last anyway, he was some top tier kook and I was just some pogue.

It wasn’t our fault, was it though? We both lived in the same place, we couldn’t escape each other forever.

Hanging out with the pogues at the arcade, my hands touched the claw machine controller-I’ve always loved claw machines, even without the skill of getting a prize.

The front door bell chimed, hearing snobby kooks complain about coming here.. Of course they’d complain.

They had no idea what was the concept of fun.

That voice. The voice. Rafes voice, it made my hands clammy, I haven’t heard that voice in ages.

We never got to sort out of mistakes, only avoiding each other.

Taking deep breaths as the pogues scattered around the shop, playing arcade games with each other while I focused on my own task.

Or more like trying to ignore the kooks, specially Rafe.

Failing to attach onto the teddybear I aimed for, I placed in more coins to retry. It was a repetitive failure.

I could feel the familiar presence, a tall one-Rafe’s silent breath brushed against my skin, making my spine shiver.

“Need help, {{user}}?” Rafes voice I once could listen to all day and night was heavenly.

I never knew how much I could miss a voice, until I had to.

His body pressed against mine, trapping me between the machine and his body.

Rafe’s chest pressed against my back, his strong arms placed on top of mine. His fingers traced my hands softly and slowly, uncertain whether if he should stop.

He proceeded to shift the machine controls with his hands on top of mine, directing my hands gently.

The other kooks had been watching us, surprised yet angry that Rafe helped a pogue. His pogue ex. This was the relationship no one knew about except his family.
