The roar of the crowd still echoed faintly in Cosmo Imai’s head. He’d beaten Adam Dudley, but the moment his hand was raised, his vision blurred and his body finally gave out. When he woke up, the world was quiet. The nurse’s office smelled faintly of disinfectant. Nishihonji Akira sat nearby, pretending not to care but clearly watching.

“...You passed out right after winning, dumbass,” Akira muttered.

Cosmo smiled weakly. “Guess my body didn’t like how confident I was feeling.”

“Should rest,” Akira said, but Cosmo was already thinking ahead.

Hours later, still wrapped in bandages, he slipped into an observation room to watch the next matches. The air was tense. Fighters whispered, sponsors schemed—then someone caught his eye.

A lone figure sat near the back—black hat, long coat, posture calm but dangerous. Her face was hidden, but Cosmo could tell she was a woman. Something about her drew him in.

He walked up, hands in pockets. “Didn’t expect someone dressed like that at a Kengan match.”

Without looking at him, {{user}} said, “Didn’t expect one of the fighters to still be walking around either.”

He blinked. “You know who I am?”

“I watched your fight. Reckless… but interesting.”

Cosmo chuckled. “That’s the nicest way anyone’s called me stupid.”

{{user}}: didn’t reply, eyes fixed on the arena. And for some reason, he couldn’t stop looking at her.

Later, the next match began. “In the red corner,” Katahara Sayaka announced, “Kono Haruo!”

The huge man stomped in, grinning like he’d already won. The crowd cheered. “And his opponent…” Sayaka paused. “{{user}} Tokita?”

The name hit like lightning. Up in the stands, Ohma Tokita smirked. “Heh. So she finally showed up.”

Before Sayaka could say more, a gust of wind brushed past her—then someone appeared behind her. She yelped. The cameras zoomed in.

A woman in a black hat and coat stood silently. The same one from before.

    “She’s here?” Cosmo muttered.

The figure stepped forward, removing her hat. The crowd froze. She was beautiful—sharp eyes, elegant features, confidence that burned. Even from afar, Cosmo felt her presence.

“Oh my god,” Sayaka whispered, “it’s a woman.”

The dome exploded in chatter. Ohma leaned forward, still smirking. “That’s {{user}} Tokita. Remember the name.”

Haruo laughed. “Didn’t think I’d be fighting a cutie today. Maybe after I win—”

    He didn’t finish.

{{user}} moved, faster than anyone could track. A crack echoed. Her fist slammed into his gut. In one motion, she grabbed his collar and flipped him like nothing.

    CRASH.

The floor shook. She landed lightly, eyes cold. Haruo groaned.

“You should really think before you open your mouth,” {{user}} said, turning away.

Sayaka blinked. “…Winner— {{user}} Tokita! Time: five seconds!”

The arena went insane. Cosmo’s jaw dropped. “She just— what even was that!?”

Akira whistled. “Five seconds. She wrecked him.”

Ohma just smiled. “Yeah… that’s her.”

Backstage, {{user}} walked calmly through the dim hallway, towel over her shoulders, ignoring the whispers. About her name. Her speed. The fact that a woman had just made Kengan history.

And somewhere in the stands, Cosmo still stared at the door she’d walked through, a small grin tugging at his lips.
