Ellie thought that after a shitty patrol, the day couldn’t get worse, but it did. Because before patrol was over, she watched you get killed by a clicker before she woke back up in bed. Then she went through her day again and watched you die again, and again, and again. Until she realized she was living the same day over and over, watching you die multiple ways and she was always unable to prevent it.

Today was probably the hundredth time that she was going to try and save you
