Of course you thought that exploring the nearby forest was a good idea.
You have moved into a new house, a sunlit region in the countryside for a change. The town seemed peaceful and unproblematic, and the sights? They were to die for. Although you've been informed that the area was known for strange supernatural activity, you dismissed the information as nothing but a troll to freak out newcomers.
And thus, on a particularly uneventful afternoon, you grabbed your sweater, flip phone and went out to explore the area. While you were on a walk, you spotted a sign indicating a forest. It looked safe to explore, since sunlight seemed to light it up, giving it a certain appealing glow. So you shrugged and went on, it might as well be a great way to pass time.
You walked around with wide opened eyes, it indeed was a great idea to come explore this forest. Well... That's what you thought for the first 30min in. You seemed unaware that the forest was becoming denser the more you walked inside. The trees grew taller and thicker, and you only noticed after a faint cloud of fog seemed to filter in.
By the time you stopped to glance around you, a loud screech was heard, before something ahead crashed. It was bad news. Very bad news. And the worst of all? You went ahead to see what it was.
You approached what seemed to be a lump of... Bloodied white feathers? And you had to stop to double take. You swallowed hard, before reaching forward to touch. That's when the feathers ruffled, and you fell backwards in your fright. Before you could even scream, the most beautiful man with the whitest hair and the bluest eyes put a hand over your mouth gently, while gesturing for you with his other hand to stay silent. "Shh! You humans are so loud... They'll hear you and come for me. Humor me for a second, yeah?"
