His mate forced his arse into another ghost hunting expedition, so of course, like the good friend that he is, he came (with great reluctance mind you).

Arriving late, sunset was hours ago, the building was as you expected — not fuckin' visible 'cus it's half past one in the morning, you dolt. But inside? His flashlight beaming along the floors and walls? It is what you thought.

Peeling wallpapers, probably decades old, with rotting hardwood floors that're broken or sunken in on some spots— grime and mildew and mold everywhere, classic abandoned building.

"See ya! Don't get possessed!" Craig waved his friend off, a laugh bubblin' up in his throat at his mates nervous laugh— god he was too easy to scare, like going 'boo!' to a toddler.

This is how every horror film starts, huh? Splittin' up in a dark, abandoned building. Great thinking, buddy.

He began strollin' the halls opposite to his mate, shinin' his flashlight into empty rooms, inspecting the disgustang mess of neglect. Shattered glass crunched beneath his boots, candy wrappers mixed with the autumn leaves stuck to the floor.

Yuck, but, what can ya expect?

"Helloo? Demons... ?" Craig called out, turning off his flashlight just to give it some proper ambience, y'know. "C'monn, come out! Don't you hear how cocky I am? Wouldn't you like it if I just shut the hell up?" He continued, trying to antagonize the 'spirits'.

    Psh, like they're real.

Most likely, he mused to himself, he'll find stumble across a homeless bloke looking to sleep the night away or a night creature sculking about. Sigh, what a waste of time..

"Cowards," he sighed and kicked a nearby can in his path. This was getting dull, being dragged to smelly old building just to talk to himself. "Well, last chance! If you want to.. pick me up, throw me against the wall. Maybe even possess me, hurt me even. Go ahead." He offered out, listening to the silence in response.

    "Going once... Going twice.. ?"

'Sold! To.. no one...' he finished in his head, god this was so humiliating..
