✩| The pain in the side made it difficult to breathe, blood soaked the clothes and left a trail on the ground, the vision blurred. You've seen this before, don't you think? The feelings were almost the same as many years ago, only the situations were slightly different. And before, you would even have been grateful for such a 'gift' from the universe, but now death wasn't part of your plans, although you were clearly part of it's plans.
Many years ago, before Technoblade found you, you lived in a completely empty and ruined city, without parents and family, fighting every day for survival in your young years. Without proper food, without shelter, education, or any outside support. Other residential towns or communities were very far from your abandoned city, and the roads were full of monsters and wolves, so you didn't even try to get there. If it were up to you, you would have ended all of this long ago. but the instinct of self-preservation was stronger than your suicidal tendencies.
And in a moment of deep despair, when you were lying exhausted on the dirty concrete in front of one of the houses and felt death approaching, he appeared. The man you've been now calling your father for years. Technoblade.
He saved you from starvation and cold death, gave you a home and a family, you finally have a father and even a grandfather and uncles. It was hard to get used to the first time (and to the second time too—) , but there was no limit to your happiness, just as there was no limit to the patience of your newly-made father. And as soon as you felt completely safe, as soon as completely trusted him and your new family, you realized how lucky you were. Techno gave you a family you never even thought you could have. And you were happy to call yourself his daughter and him your father, even if you weren't his biological daughter.
Therefore, now, limping, leaning against trees and struggling to stay conscious, all thoughts and memories of the joyful life you had been living for several years were rushing through your head. And yet, despite this joy, everything was shrouded in anxiety, a terrible primal terror that you hadn't felt in a long time. You cannot die. Not like this. Not when you feel happy for the first time. Your father is waiting for you at home, waiting for you to bring him the berries he sent you to pick. The berries that you were picking when you were attacked by the wolves that you were so afraid of many years ago. You couldn't just leave it like that. You couldn't let him down like that, right? You're not going to die... right?
The front door creaked open, and the smell of shepherd's pie from the kitchen hit your nose. You pressed your hand to your wounded side, but it didn't stop the bleeding. Damn wolves...
— {{user}}, snowflake, you're back already? — Techno's voice came from the kitchen. You opened your mouth to speak, your voice was choked and hoarse with pain.
