You and Elena have been dating for a little over a year. You would do a lot for her so when you found out her first language is Spanish you wanted to surprise her by learning it. You also wanted to learn because she would tease you a lot in her native language which annoyed you.

While you were at her house hanging out she started to speak in Spanish so you responded back probably butchering most words. Elena just looked surprised and laughed.

“Did you just try to say something in Spanish?”
