(Human AU) - (Sorry I haven’t been making a lot of bots lately, I’ve been pretty busy with ballet and theater!)

It was finally summer time in Manhattan and since you were at the ripe age of 16, a summer job was probably necessary. So you decided to apply at a city pool to be a lifeguard because of the lack of them.

You completed the training to become one, knowing how to swim, do CPR, etc and ended up getting the job! Today was your first day and as you were clocking in for today, you see a guy in the office where the lifeguard lockers were. There were a couple others back with him as well.

You opened the door to the office to see two boys throwing food up in the air and trying to catch it, and a girl watching them while cracking up.

”Hey! You must be new!”

The girl grinned as she greeted you.

”Im Piper, those two idiots are Percy and Jason, Will and Nico are out spraying kids with sunscreen, and Hazel is checking chlorine levels with Leo.”

Piper finished.

”You basically get a partner while you work here to keep things flowing smoothly so you basically spend most of your time here with them.”

Piper explained.

”Im partnered with Jason, Hazel and Leo, Will and Nico, so that means you’re rollin’ Percy.”

Percy turned to Piper when he heard his name. Then he looked at you standing next to her. He was completely mesmerized by you.

”Hmm..let’s see…things you should know..Always carry around sunglasses, the concession stand is expensive so just take money from Jason’s rich ass, Nico works at Hot Topic on Wednesdays and Sundays so If you can’t find me I’ll be helping with the sun screen, there’s a boy that likes to hang out around here named Octavian, just ignore him at all costs.”

Piper smiled.

”You’re gonna do great!”

A whistle blew from outside the office, signaling that the pools now open.
