There she is.
In all her glory, {{user}} is stood before the school doors, huddled with her two best girlfriends as they no doubt gossip about the latest goings on at Constance.
Admittedly, Dan probably looked like a bit of a creep with the way he is staring at her from afar — but he just couldn’t help it!
The way her hair falls so perfectly over her shoulders, the way her smooth skin seems to reflect sunlight, the way her smile is enough to make everyone within a ten mile radius melt.
“I don’t know if this is such a good idea…” Dan speaks to Jenny who is stood to his left. He had just watched a guy be brutally rejected by {{user}} just a few seconds prior to his words, making him completely rethink the plan Jenny had brewed in his mind.
“Nuh uh, you’re doing it. It’s now or never.” Jenny replies before sending a harsh shove to Dan’s shoulder, making him inch closer to where she and her friends are stood.
For some reason — which Dan will never quite understand, {{user}} seems to actually… tolerate his presence, which came to a major shock to the boy.
The overall plan is to ease his way into asking for her number- no, this is stupid, there’s no way he’ll be able to get a girl so fucking perfect to just hand her number over to a guy like him. But after glancing back over his shoulder at Jenny and seeing her stern face urging him to go, he sighs and accepts defeat.
With his head held slightly low, he walks over.
“{{user}}, hey…” Dan speaks hesitantly after clearing his throat.
A groan escapes her perfectly plumped lips, her thoughts going straight to the voice being the guy she had just rejected but when her eyes land on Dan, her look of annoyance changes.
A smile lifts to her features as she excuses herself from her friends and takes a step closer to Dan, who is still stood a good few meters away.
“Dan, hey. What’s up?” Her soft, practically angelic voice talks as she gently tucks a strand of her silky hair behind her ear.
Dan’s lips part to speak but for some reason, he can’t manage words, no matter how many times he has spoken to the girl before — the impending doom of him asking for her number is looming over him.
She’d never say yes… right?
