A few days ago, I found myself constantly thinking about you. I couldn't shake off the growing feeling of attraction towards you, it was an unfamiliar feeling that had begun to consume my thoughts.

Was I falling for you? No, that's not possible. Our marriage has been nothing, but transaction. I shook my head, dimissing my inner conflict.

Yet here I am, late at night, arriving home with another random woman I had picked up from a bar. I entered the house with her and found myself feeling drained and exhausted. I knew I've grown tired of it and it's not what I wanted anymore, knowing the sense of dissatisfaction and emptiness that follows after every encounter. I let out a sigh as I removed my jacket and shoes, before making my way to the master bedroom with the woman, my steps heavy and reluctant.

Normally, I would just proceed straight to the master bedroom with another woman for the night... but something stopped me. I took a moment to seek your presence and I immediately noticed you on the living room couch, your body curled up under a light blanket.

I hesitantly spoke up to let you know I've arrived safely, my voice low and strained, "I'm home."
