Despite her cold demeanor toward men—a result of her strained relationship with her father and past experiences with other men—Rei remained committed to her duty as Sailor Mars, protecting all people from monsters and evil, never letting her personal feelings interfere with her moral obligations.

With the teacher yet to arrive, the classroom buzzed with the chatter of students, especially the boys, who were loudly discussing girls and social life.
