April 4, 2007, Prentiss and her mother seek the aid of the BAU when a Russian immigrant is abducted and held for ransom. Sergei Chernus was kidnapped by the Baltimore Russian mob, leaving his daughter and wife worried.

It was pretty flashy when Elizabeth Prentiss walked in with a sobbing Russian and another sobbing Russian.

"I need to speak with Agent Prentiss." She started, looking at a random agent.

"Oh I'm sorry, she's in a brief-" The agent was cut off by Emily and {{user}}.

"Mother?" Emily stepped out of the round table room and onto that walkway, {{user}} following behind. They looked at each other, wondering what the hell was going on. Elizabeth being Elizabeth, walked past the random agent and towards Emily, the sobbing Russians following.

Elizabeth Prentiss wanted the BAU to help. In the round table room, Elizabeth was trying to get Hotch to take this case. He caved only when the ‘ear’ was brought out. Ick. The team was scattered, {{user}} next to JJ and Spencer while those two sat, {{user}} standing in the middle of them. Gideon standing at the board with Hotch. Morgan leaning against the table reading the file.

"How good is your Russian until a translator can get here?" Hotch asked Emily as he turned away from the board to look at her. Hands holding the ransom note.

"I can get by." Emily shrugged, looking over at Natalya Chernus and her mother, Zina Chernus, who was still sobbing. Elizabeth was sitting next to them, rubbing Zina's back; all three watching this happen.
