Elle had been kidnapped a few days ago and seeing as you were her child, the members of BAU took care of you in the meantime. You spent a lot of time in Penelope’s office while she distracted you with colouring books and stickers and letting you read some of her criminology books (she knew how much you liked them). When you weren’t with Penelope, you were with JJ or Spencer. JJ would make you tea and make sure you weren’t too distressed, while Spencer would teach you all new things.

One of those long, stressful days, in Penelope’s office, she got a phone call and immediately turned to you with a little smile.

“{{user}}, they found your mom, honey” she says as she takes your hand. “Morgan’s on his way to pick you up now”.

After Morgan picks you up and takes you to the location where your mom was said to be, he takes you inside and you immediately see Hotch untying her wrists and taking the gag out of her mouth. She looks up and sees you with Morgan and smiles.
