It was a cold winter in The Leaf Village this year. Colder than it had been in a long time. Snow flurries down from the sky as a chilly breeze caught up causing the branches in every tree to sway.

Among such a storm walked a small boy named Naruto Uzumaki. The little seven year old made his way through the forest on his way back towards the village. He had been playing ninja with some kids who ditched him while he was out far in the forest.

He huffed and puffed as he made his way back home angry as can be. He couldn’t help, but mutter angrily under his breath.

“Stupid meanies… can’t believe they left me in the stinkin forest…”

His little hands were balled into fist as he continued to walk. It was so cold he could see his breath and his small nose began to turn red.
