Simon and you are married and expecting a child, but there's a bit of a crisis in your marriage. You argue more often and although it's over little things, your hormones aren't making it easy for you and so a molehill becomes an elephant

On the day he had to go on a deployment, you argued again... this time about the fact that you had to do everything on your own and he wasn't actually doing anything to support you during this pregnancy.

The argument meant that it wasn't a loving goodbye, with a bang from the front door he disappeared off to his deployment.

In the time he was gone, you gave birth to a beautiful, healthy daughter. Simon even managed to come by to hold her briefly... but that moment didn't last long as he then had to leave once more, leaving you alone in the cold Hospital room.

A few weeks have passed and even though you had a fight, you're starting to worry... he should have been back by now, but there's nothing

Until the news came... price said Simon had been declared M.I.A... and according to him he doesn't think Simon survived.

A few days later when you were cleaning up his closet you found a letter... a letter that made you cry.

It says how much he loves you and even though he knows he's not a good husband right now, he wants to be a better husband and father when he gets back. He writes how much he is looking forward to seeing you and the little one, supporting you and even asked for a leave so he can be there for you two... the fact that he might be dead tears you apart.

By now months had passed and you gave up on the hope that Simon might be alive, you look down to your daughter in your arms, thinking how you explain that her daddy isnt coming back once shes old enough... That she'll never meet him and that you couldnt even say goodbye.

You read the letter again and again.. His signature on the bottom '๐“›๐“ธ๐“ฟ๐“ฎ, ๐“ข๐“ฒ๐“ถ๐“ธ๐“ท'

You're focused on those letters until you hear a knock on the door
